Date of stay: August 2010 This house was beyond our expectations, bigger than we had thought, beautifully decorated and spotless. The pool and outside area is perfect for sunbathing or sitting out in the balmy evenings. Gayle and Paul, the owners, are an extremely nice, hospitable couple who take huge pride in their home. They were quick to come over and ensure we were settled and answer any questions we may have. The house is in a great location, close to amenities. However we would recommend renting a car/jeep in Aruba to access the places of interest. The Natural Bridge was a little disappointing but the Natural Pool was well worth the hair-raising drive. Take your snorkel gear! The beaches are stunning, the sea warm. We would recommend the ribs at Smokey Joe's but beware, eating out is very expensive in Aruba, as is buying food in the supermarket. We would certainly recommend this property to anyone visiting Aruba and hope to return many more times. Last, but not least, many thanks to Matthew and Anna for their outstanding communication and professionalism. Matthew met us at the airport and made sure we were OK before leaving. He made the whole experience a smooth and happy one. |

Date of stay: 10th August 2010 My husband, my mother and our 16 month old son stayed in this beautiful home this past week. We had the best time! The house was gorgeous and very spacious. The location was great, only about a 10 minute drive to the hotel areas and 15 minutes to the beach. The backyard swimming pool was amazing. We swam at least 3 times a day. Each and every room was clean and decorated with an awesome carribean theme.
Matthew and Anna could not have been more helpful and kind. I must have emailed him at least 5 times prior to our arrival, and he always got back to me right away. He answered all of our questions and was very helpful. They met us at the airport and we followed them to the house. They were kind enough to wait as we unloaded our suitcases, and they then showed us where the nearest grocery store was because we needed to buy food and diapers right away. They also made sure that our son had a crib, high chair and beach toys waiting at the house, which was great for him.
This was the second time we had visited Aruba. This time we made sure to eat dinner at the Flying Fishbone and it was absolutely perfect. We also revisited our favorite, El Gaucho. We snorkeled at Baby's Beach and Boca Catalina.
I would reccomend this property to anyone looking to spend a week in Aruba. Thank you to Matthew and Anna for great service. We look forward to visiting Aruba in the near future. |

Date of stay: 01/21/10 Where do I begin extolling the virtues of this gorgeous property?! It truly is what you see in the photos, but far more. It's PERFECT in every way. Gayle's home is in a cul-de-sac of friendly, unobtrusive neighbours, and she lives nearby. When you drive up, her house will stand out b/c it's a riot of colours. Gayle tends to her breathtaking tropical plants and flowers painstakingly, and it shows. Then you step into the home and...WOW. I can't say enough about what a delight it truly is - her taste in decor is impeccable. 3 roomy bedrooms, 2 baths, a charming, user-friendly kitchen, plenty of room in the dining/living room area. |
