Date of stay: June 2013 This villa was beautiful and we enjoyed it very much. We have rented a number of villas over the years in Aruba, the Bahamas and Hawaii and this rental was the easiest and most professionally handled of any of them. We enjoyed working with Elisa, she did a terrific job representing your firm Aruba Villa Vacation Homes and the owner. Thanks again, Mike and family. |

Date of stay: December 2011 We stayed at the Aruba Paradise Villa this December 2011. It was truly a paradise. We enjoyed being away from the hustle and noise of Eagle Beach and Palm Beach but the villa is a short drive away to both beaches. The house has beautiful furniture which is very comfortable, two bedrooms with king size beds and one with twin beds. The kitchen is fully stocked all you need to bring is the food. Outside there is a wonderful shaded porch for those of us who are sun sensitive. If you are addicted to your internet toys the wifi works outside on the patio by the pool. The house has flat screen tv's in every bedroom plus the living room. There is also a phone for free local calls. The neighborhood is quite safe and we enjoyed having complete privacy to use the pool. All you really need to bring are a couple of bathing suits, some shorts and perhaps a pair of slacks. There is a washer/dryer in the unit but we never had to use it since the house provides plentiful beach towels and beach chairs along with wonderful regular towels. We have to say everything was top quality in this home and we loved it so much we are going back next year. We highly recommend this house if you are looking for a quiet place to stay, where you can easily get to everything in Aruba, but want to be away from the noise and crowds. It is great for couples and families. We did eat breakfast at the house, made lunches for the beach and some dinners as well. The prices in Aruba to eat out at most restaurants are quite high so keep this in mind as well - though the Paradise Villa may cost more than a moderate hotel the cost of meals will add up so quickly that in the long run it will be less expensive to stay at the villa. Matthew the caretaker is terrific and he will direct you to the house as well as where to shop for food. You will need a rental car but I think most people would want one anyway since there is so much to explore on the island. There is a beautiful national park and plenty of different places to go other than where the tourists stay which is mainly the Palm Beach and Eagle Beach areas. We loved our stay in paradise. |

Date of stay: October 2011 We had an excellent vacation and enjoyed every minute of it. One of the reasons why we are so satisfied with everything was the villa. It was everything we hoped for. Mostly we appreciated the stylishly furnished living room, pool of course and the terrace. We enjoyed the large bed- and bathrooms and the air condition was a must as the weather was so hot outside. Kitchen was very well equipped. The TV didn't work at first, but Matthew took care of it immediately. We really appreciated Matthew's way of taking care of us, he was always available and extremely helpful. He has a great sense of humor too, so please send our best to him. There were a few minor things that could be improved on: We could of used a few extra blankets on the beds and it would have been nice to have adapters for European visitors as we have different electrical system here.Otherwise, I can just say that you have a really beautiful villa which we'd love to rent again if we come back to Aruba, which we hopefully do! |
