We just returned from a fantastic time in Aruba. We came for a few hours on a cruise 5 years ago. We stayed at this villa for 2 weeks, one week with 4 of our adult children then a week on our own. If you want privacy this is the villa to be. Our family really enjoyed the privacy of the pool and just being able to relax in the sun. My husband and I spent our evenings by the pool with a glass of wine ..without bugs..a lovely breeze and the quietness that we would not have had if we stayed in a hotel. The villa had a nice open plan, dishwasher, washer and dryer which helped when you have a family of 6. The kitchen is well equipped. It could do with a few trays and a tea kettle, otherwise it was had everything. We were there during carnival and the culmination night of fantastic fireworks which we watched from our patio chairs near the pool. We enjoyed eating all our meals on the patio and did a lot of grilling which made for a pleasant meal every night. We rented a car which I would suggest. Getting around is difficult otherwise. Our family loved Arashi beach the best as it was not as crowded as Eagle and Palm Beach and they could snorkle and swim. It was a 10 minute drive from the villa You can also rent beach chairs for $5 per day there. I suggest the villa provide a few light chairs for the beach. It would save on cost. The villa is next to the Aruba Racket Club so you can use that as a land mark. It is also next to the Saline which you can walk through to get to Palm beach. There is a mini super market at the end of the dirt road. We did most of our shopping at Super foods. Be prepared to translate to English. We were suprized that no peddlers hassled us. Everyone seemed to be employed. It was a nice change to not feel guilty.
Izaira met us at the airport and showed us around she also gave us great tips on where to shop and which beach is best. Anna and Matthew was fantastic to deal with and will not hesitate to use their services again. We had a few issues with the villa the first few days, some of them were resolved the next day. We explored other beaches but always came back to Arash beach. We enjoyed our sunset walks every evening and cant wait to go back next year.

A Charming Villa

We enjoyed our first visit to Aruba and especially enjoyed the villa. This is a small island so you aren't very far from anywhere but we found the location to be very convenient. The pool area was semi private, which was nice. The kitchen was well-appointed with plenty of room. We were greeted at the airport by Olga, who graciously took us by a grocery store on our way to the villa. The service provided on Aruba was outstanding! Our group found this property to be a comfortable place to call home for a week.
