My husband and I, along with two other couples, rented this beautiful property earlier this month. We’ve been vacationing in Aruba for some 20+ years (and the last 6 or 7 with Aruba Villa Vacation Homes), and we'd watched this house being built the year before and vowed to rent it if it became available. Long story short: this house is beyond the pale if you're looking for luxury accommodations with a breathtaking and unequaled view. We spent a glorious week playing in the (huge!) pool and whirlpool watching Arubian sunsets from a one-of-a-kind, virtual 180 degree panorama that included the lighthouse, Arubian terrain and ocean. How could we ever top this? There are three virtually identical full size master bedrooms, two upstairs and one downstairs. The upper suites had balconies; the lower had direct pool views and access. Each 'master' had an amazing bathroom - the shower rooms have to be seen to be believed, complete with multi sprays and handheld shower heads. The beds were extremely comfortable, and we found additional pillows, blankets and plenty of beach towels within. The gated front driveway easily accommodated 2 full cars and with a bit of maneuvering, a third. Many of our meals, especially breakfasts and lunches, used the well stocked kitchen that included the necessities: a coffee maker, tea kettle and toaster. The kitchen (gas stove, huge fridge and ample counter space) was separate from the bar area/bar fridge, ideal to keep the drinkers out of the way of the chefs. We didn’t use it, but there is a gas grill by the poolside. This is an exceptional house and .. let’s face it, offered at an exceptional cost; for us, however, it well worth it and made this trip to Aruba unforgettable. Many many thanks to Elisa and the staff at Aruba Villa Vacation Homes – once again, their administration makes the process of renting a vacation villa seamless. We wouldn’t rent from anyone else. You guys rock!

Nightlife in Aruba is something many have never experienced. A shame. While some would say that nightlife in Aruba is comparable to nightlife in other Caribbean islands, why not take a different approach? The Palm Beach and Oranjestad areas are the places to be when you want to make sure you’ll have some crazy stories to tell back home.

Aruba might only be 20 miles long and 6 miles wide, but this small Caribbean island still has a lot to explore. Apart from the swimming, snorkeling, diving and waterskiing, there are many secret spots left to discover inlands as well.
